At Tesla we believe that the best service is no service! We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager to join our Service Operations organization and lead the team responsible to identify and eliminate the reasons for our cars to require service.

This role will be both strategic and tactical, and will include designing solutions and managing individual campaigns to be executed with field teams and partners. The candidate will work closely with hardware and software engineering, service engineering, quality and service programs and field teams to prioritize, launch, and track demand reduction and efficiency efforts.

• Lead a team to closely collaborate and accelerate feedback loops with field teams, product engineering and manufacturing groups to surface opportunities to enhance quality, reliability, and serviceability
• Leverage data analysis and real world observations to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to prioritize for pre-delivery and service demand reduction
• Act as the liaison of Quality, Engineering and Service Engineering to field teams to increase communication, collaboration and accelerated problem solving
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop strategies and technologies to accelerate the ability to diagnose issues both remotely and onsite
• Work with the field and our training teams to identify knowledge gaps, establish standards and share best practices
• Take on new projects ad-hoc as the business needs and drive impactful results

• A relentless drive for raising the bar of vehicle quality, reliability and service efficiency with strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated track record of cross-functional stakeholder management, scaling business and meeting targets with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Bachelor's Degree with a Business or Engineering focused curriculum, or equivalent
• 5 years of managerial experience leading teams and developing direct reports
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deliver reliable and expeditious results across multiple parallel priorities.
• Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operations
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
