As Channel Planning Manager, you will create forecasts for and manage inventory levels of parts & accessories at Delivery Hubs, Regional Distribution Centers, Service Centers and Body Shops worldwide, design process improvements and next generation planning systems, and perform data analytics for Global Service Supply Chain Operations. We are the team responsible for forecasting parts and accessories to support Tesla's customers from factory gate onwards. You will be a thought leader in developing end-to-end channel planning solutions as well as managing the project execution. The role is highly visible due to the scope of responsibility and impact, so you will have executive-level exposure. It is essential that you can think strategically, connecting the dots in the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverables. • Create forecasts for and manage inventory levels of parts & accessories across Regional Distribution Centers, Service Centers and Body Shops worldwide to support service demand, minimize freight costs, and optimize inventory levels
• Maintain channel planning master data MRP parameters to ensure accurate demand signals
• Deliver results and gain buy-in from executives on regular basis
• Work fluidly in a highly cross-functional team environment involving Production, Procurement, Logistics & Distribution, and Field Operations as well as Packaging Engineering, and Conveyance personnel
• Continuously improve Channel Planning forecast accuracy, service level, and fill rate KPIs.
• Work with Production, Procurement, Logistics & Distribution, and Field Operations teams to understand regional demand and supply needs and to support Global Service operational goals and metrics.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or Computer Science fields, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience or Master 2 years of experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and comfortable communicating with Senior Management
• Experience in Supply chain, demand and operations planning, network distribution or inventory management will be looked upon favorably
• Proficient in handling data and data analytics overall. Advanced Excel features like Power Queries and Power Pivots
• Tableau dashboard creation
• Experience in ETL using My SQL and SQL Server as well as working with Data Frames and Arrays on programming languages such as Python and/or R are a plus
