Tesla Infrastructure Development Team is looking for aninnovative Electrical Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering team. Theelectrical engineer/designer is responsible to support engineering design andconstruction of Tesla infrastructure projects. This position requires anexperienced and competent individual capable of successfully solving difficultproblems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures,and criteria.

• Design and review electrical system infrastructure with followingdeliverables: Single line diagram, panel schedule, grounding, power plan,lighting layout, and EV charging design
• Responsible to review electrical deliverables with respectto code compliances and ensure every design maintains the highest level ofquality. Provide value engineering and recommendations to increase costefficiencies without impacting the integrity of design
• Analyze and review power system study (short circuit,coordination, arc flash, and load flow study)
• Conduct field investigations and prepare due diligencereport and develop concept design documentation. Develop and improve project workflowsand standards to ensure each design is consistently excellent
• Participate in on-field construction activities by servingas the point of contact for technical questions and real-time issue resolution
• Coordinate with internal Energy and Charging team tocollaborate for renewable energy (Solar PV & Battery Storage) and EVCharging initiatives
• Coordinate project efforts with Design Managers, ConstructionManagers, Workplace Managers, Engineering staff, EHS and Procurement

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 years workexperience in commercial and industrial sector, or equivalent
• Clear understanding and working knowledge International BuildingCode, International Energy Conservation Code, applicable NFPA standards (NFPA 70,70E, 72 and 101 are required; understanding of additional applicable codes area plus)
• Proficiency designing electrical & power distributionsystems in AutoCAD or Revit, with Revit being preferred
• Experienced in coordinating with Utility for transformer/powerupgrades and primary/secondary service infrastructure
• Perform electrical engineering study & breaker settings(EasyPower, SKM, ETAP), perform electrical lighting calculations (photometricsand comcheck)
• Ability to understand and coordinate requirements needed forlow-voltage system (IT, Security, AV, etc.)
• Completion of the FE exam. PE registration is a plus, ability to travel
