Bartender Full-time

Well-established fine dining restaurant in Ridgefield, CT is looking to hire a full-time bartender. Must me available weekends, weekday nights and holidays.

Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS system
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service

Skills
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a fine dining fast paced restaurant
- Strong sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktail recipes
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Proficient in bartending techniques, including mixing drinks, garnishing, and glassware selection
- Familiarity with food service operations, including order taking and serving customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
