J ob Title : Direct Support Professional / Autistic Support
Location : Quakertown, PA
About Us :
We are currently seeking a responsible and reliable individual to work directly with an autistic young adult within the Quakertown area.
The position involves providing in-home and community-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) support as part of a knowledgeable behavioral team.
The individual you will be working with is pleasant, fun to be around, has a good sense of humor, loves reading, and has a keen ability to learn new skills.
She thrives with structure, routines, and the use of technology.
Job Type : Part-time
Salary : $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Hours : 12 : 00 pm thru 5 : 00 pm, *any weekday
Monday through Friday
FLEXIBLE Saturday and Sunday hours
Responsibilities :
- Implementing the techniques of ABA and following the Positive Behavioral Support Plan (PBSP).
- Collecting data on the individual's progress and behaviors.
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Providing positive reinforcement and support in accordance with the ABA approach.
- Maintaining regular communication with the behavioral team and the individual's family.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Completion of RBT coursework and / or RBT certification (preferred).
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification.
- NADD Certification.
- Experience working with adults with Autism required.
- Familiarity with ABA techniques and principles required.
