Resale Store Manager

TERI Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and professional Full Time General Manager for our Inspired Resale Store in Oceanside, CA. The store manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the resale store, including; managing staff and volunteers, intake/pricing/merchandising of donations and maintaining an appealing and warm customer service environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Trains and supervises store employees and volunteers. Is trustworthy and deals well with all employees and volunteers. Forms a culture among all workers that mirrors TERI Inc’s mission and values. Promotes a management style of continuous improvement and positive morale by actively seeking and sharing innovative ideas to improve sales, including social media techniques. Provides fair administration of human resources policies and practices.
• Oversees the general operations to include receiving, processing, and pricing donations; developing retail displays; merchandise presentation, maintaining inventory; and processing sales. Successfully solicits donations and coordinates and schedules pick-ups and delivery of items as needed.
• Maintains organization, maintenance and upkeep of the store. Opens/closes the store as scheduled and according to procedures. Reconciles sales and bank deposits. Maintains appropriate staffing levels.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal and leadership skills including coaching and training. Completes all employee performance evaluations in a timely manner. Tactful interaction with customers, peers, subordinates, and upper management

Schedule: Thursday & Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm / Tuesday , Wednesday, Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm 

Salary: $18.00 - 20.00 / hour

Skills/ Requirements: HS/GED. Minimum of 2 years related retail, supervisory, and customer service experience required. Acceptable driving history & reliable transportation, acceptable criminal background check, and a negative marijuana/drug screen is required.
