Requirements- The candidate MUST have experience as an assistant or full project manager in building structure tents and custom flooring for on-site events and disaster relief. Must have a proven track record of successfully managing tent projects from initiation to completion. Must reside, or be willing to relocate, to within a 2-hour drive from the greater New Orleans area. Must be willing to occasionally travel for multiple nights/days. Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to job sites.

Experience:

• Tent/Flooring Building: Minimum 5 years

Job Description-

The candidate must be a highly motivated and hands-on individual in order to join our team as a Project Manager. This position will be responsible for planning and leading an entire crew on the installation and strike of tents, flooring and related equipment for various events: including weddings, corporate events, private parties, industrial events and disaster relief camps. The Project Manager will work onsite to ensure that each event is set up according to the customer's specifications and provide excellent customer service to our clients. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and physically demanding outdoor environment is essential to succeed in this role.

Duties-

• Communicate effectively with clients, team members and other vendors to ensure excellent customer service
• Conduct pre-event site visits to evaluate best installation methods and equipment required
• Develop detailed project drawings, timelines, budgets, travel, resource allocation and quotes
• Lead team during on-site tent and flooring installations according to event specifications
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams and other vendors to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives
• Participate in the dismantle and removal of tents, equipment and clean after events so that the site is back to its original condition
• Maintain equipment inventory and ensure that all equipment is in good condition
• Abide by safety policies and procedures while working onsite
• Assist in various areas of operations and installations
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Skills Required:

• Strong communication skills and the ability effectively interact with clients, team members and other vendors are a must
• Ability to install complex tents and flooring systems
• Ability to teach and guide others in complex tent and flooring system installation
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Must have the ability to lift heavy equipment up to 50 pounds
• High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and find solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
