What you will be doing:
- Execute routine, preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance for the company's manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair control and non-control-based production equipment.
- Identify problems with existing equipment and make recommendations for new or upgraded components.
- Participate in purchasing new, rebuilt, or upgrades for equipment projects.
- Manage planned downtime activities for equipment, including ordering required parts and identifying resources needed for timely completion.
- Maintain an organized work area and clean up after each job.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and maintainability.
- Follow all safety regulations and practices, including lockout/tag-out and required personal protective equipment.
- Utilize systems for inventory control, labor reporting, maintenance requests, preventive maintenance work orders, and purchasing.
- Assist production units in line changeovers and set-ups.
- Support and promote continuous improvement goals and values of DSB Technologies, including adherence to Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
