TENNESSEE VALLEY FEDERAL CREDIT UNI is Hiring a Title Specialist Near Chattanooga, TN

Job Description:

Process incoming title work on new Consumer and Commercial loans. Perform maintenance on the existing perfected titles for Consumer and Commercial Loans. Releasing titles and UCC’s once a Consumer or Commercial vehicle loan has been paid in full. Perform UCC continuations before UCC’s expire in order to ensure the Credit Union’s lien remains on the vehicle. Process Lender Pro Fast Track premium refunds.

  • Release titles and UCC’s based on the current procedures.
  • Researches and responds to missing title requests.
  • Process Fast track premium refunds.
  • Process incoming title work.
  • Maintain Knowledge of lien perfection procedures.
  • Maintain Knowledge of Lending practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of Lending operations by completing Lending Regulation and Product and Service Certification courses.
  • Proactively demonstrate the TVFCU core values of integrity, honesty, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, accountability and strong relationships in every interaction with members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Other Requirements:

TVFCU requires that candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
  • Familiarity with loan documents and Lien Perfection required.
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to communicate effectively and with tact with members, staff, and third party contacts (dealerships, insurance companies, and outside individuals).
  • Working knowledge of Excel preferred.
  • Must work well under pressure and be able to remain on task with frequent interruptions.
