Description

The Marketing Coordinator will be a critical part of the global marketing team, actively contributing to the implementation of the firm’s global marketing and communications strategy. This individual will be responsible for sourcing, drafting and reviewing content for publication across various internal and external channels; participate in the execution of events; and provide general support for the marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and be technically savvy and willing to learn and take on new tasks. The Marketing Coordinator will be based in New York and support the Global Head of Marketing and the Chief Integration Officer on various marketing and communications initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the day-to-day execution of the global marketing function in support of the overall marketing plan and objectives
• Participate in the content management and creation process: manage global content calendar; source, draft, and/or proofread social media posts, internal comms, news items, event invitations, web content, etc.
• Utilize the global CRM and e-mail marketing platform: manage contacts and lists; create, send and track communications using the email marketing platform
• Coordinate with marketing vendors: schedule meetings, manage projects/deliverables
• Track marketing team expenses and budget; facilitate payment of invoices
• Respond to daily inbound marketing/business development queries and facilitate timely responses

Qualifications

• 2 years of marketing, journalism, communications and/or related field; experience in professional services preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; degree or concentration in journalism, communications and/or related majors strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communicator, with strong writing, editorial and proofreading skills
• Strong organizational skills, project-management and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Resourceful, team-oriented, enthusiastic, collaborative and entrepreneurial
• A strong work commitment, high ethical standards and ability to work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple time-sensitive and demanding assignments
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook) is required
• Experience working with a variety of marketing software programs (CMS, CRM, e-mail marketing, virtual meetings/events, etc.) preferred

Total Compensation Package

Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and perks.

Base Salary Range

$70,000 – 80,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed).

Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible. Colleagues assigned to the New York, Washington D.C, San Francisco and Boston offices are expected to work from the office location a minimum of three times per week.
