Qualifications:
Job Summary: Competent Registered Nurse who delivers health services to individuals with disabilities who are experiencing mental and physical conditions. The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process documentation and communication skills to collaborate with physicians and other team members. Supervise provisions of consumer services. Provides nursing assessments and care plans to the agency consumers. Provides health education training as assigned, participates in planning and treatment planning meetings. Perform direct care duties, and keep abreast with professional developments in nursing and related areas. Maintains an effective system of records and reports. Oversight of medical information, and medication training for clients and staff, as appropriate. Performs other duties as from time-to-time, be deemed appropriate by the supervisor.
Expectation for all Employees: Agency employees are expected to: Maintain a good working relationship with individuals served, contract agencies, third party players, other social service provider personnel, families, staff and other stakeholders. In addition, staff members are expected to exercise good judgment and problem-solving skills, function as liaisons to other agency programs, and in a professional manner.

Physical Requirements: Mobility and ability to bend and reach during an eight-hour day. Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Able to sit approximately 2-3 hours per shift, stand or work 6-8 hours per shift, and drive a company van 1-4 hours per shift. Has visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate and treat a client's needs. Fine motor skills and legible and accurate writing of reports, daily correspondence and presentation either manually or orally. Ability to work an eight-hour day.

Working Conditions:
Position is based at various locations in Morris County, New Jersey. Incumbent must be willing to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends.
