Description: Develops software for a cybersecurity tool that detects anomalous and malicious activity on customer networks. Maintains deployments of the system on premise with customers as well as in cloud-based environments. *Partial Telework is possible* Responsibilities: * Develop innovative, user-friendly tools to solve real problems and advance the customer's mission
* Incorporate customer feedback and requirements into software designs
* Maintain descriptive documentation both in code (comments) and out (white papers, wikis, presentations, etc.) * Communicate effectively with technical and management project leadership
* Assist with determining operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
* Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with Lead Engineer regarding customer requirements, and studying systems flow, and data usage.
* Follow the software development lifecycle to ensure quality and traceability.
* Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Required Skills: * Must be a U.S. Citizen
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
* 10 years of experience in software development
* Proficiency in Java
* Knowledge of collaboration tools, such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
* One of the following: * Experience with cybersecurity analysis using network traffic data (PCAP, Zeek, etc.)
* Experience configuring network switches and routers, establishing VPNs, and managing data flow throughout networks
* Experience managing cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and deploying applications in a cloud environment
* Ability to multitask, managing multiple objectives simultaneously with competing needs
* Ability to communicate up and down the chain of command, clearly conveying technical information to managers with minimal technical knowledge and developers with deep technical expertise
Desired Skills: * TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
* Experience developing and utilizing RESTful Web Services
* Experience building predictive and classification AI models
* Proficiency with ReactJS or similar JavaScript frameworks
* Proficiency in Python
