Temp Associates is Hiring a Plasma Table Operator Near Cantril, IA
Plasma Table Operator Cantril, Iowa $15 Dependent on experience
The Plasma Table Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of the Plasma Table. The successful applicant will be responsible for producing quality parts according to blueprints and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must adhere to and follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
- Operate CNC plasma cutting equipment efficiently
- Layout, read, and interpret shop drawings, tape measure, and other company documents
- Load and unload equipment with material manually, be able to lift at least 50lbs and climb stairs
- Set up jobs and adjust cutting parameters
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain quality control standards through conscientious attention to detail
- Perform daily preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot, properly mark, and stamp materials
- Perform daily cleaning of machines
- Be organized and able to plan ahead
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production
- Process parts according to production requirements
Requirements:
- Excellent attendance is a must
- Previous experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt
