DAS Technician Trainee (Client Project) - Southern US

Telvero are recruiting for a DAS Technician Trainee position on behalf of a leading telecommunications client. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in the exciting field of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).

The Opportunity

This is a trainee role designed for individuals with a strong foundation in fiber splicing or low voltage who are eager to learn about DAS installations. You will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with various tasks and undergoing comprehensive training to become a full-fledged DAS Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of DAS equipment, including antennas, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, and other related components.
• Learn proper safety protocols for working at cell sites and construction environments.
• Participate in testing and troubleshooting procedures under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Assist with maintaining accurate project documentation.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working collaboratively with the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fiber splicing, low voltage cabling, or a related field.
• A strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to travel throughout the Southern United States for extended periods.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.28 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road
