Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalency but not required

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in plastics Injection Molding manufacturing Extruder experience a plus, Able to do mold set-up’s, Knowledge with doing PM to molds, Repairs to Machine is a plus

• Knowledge of Thermolators, grinders, blenders, and additive systems

• Experience working on Cincinnati, Toshiba, Kawaguchi , Injection Mold Machines, or similar equipment

• Day Shift minimal weekends

• English Language Skills: Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English, Bilinguala plus

• Math Skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide

• Physical Demands: Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs

• Safety oriented a must

Responsibilities

• The Process Technician will support injection manufacturing department and may include Extruded Duck Department if knowledge is learned, mold set-up team, PM to the molds, Prep material with additives.

• Provides support to production to improve process and metrics

• Schedule and Monitor all aspects of machine’s daily and auxiliary equipment

• Work close with the Quality Control Department to establish Procedures

• Troubleshoots problems with injection machines and Auxiliary equipment and takes corrective actions

• Establish and Follows Lockout Tag out, establish Process Sheets, Establish Procedures, Establish Visual aids, and Instructions

• Works closely with Production Support, Quality, Warehouse, and Purchasing, and Operations personnel reports to Manufacturing Manager to achieve and maintain departmental goals

• Maintains and improves safety and quality (safety devices, guarding equipment, spare parts list, set-up instructions, and troubleshooting protocol

• Prepare reports and data collection as directed by immediate Manager

• Daily Starts/shuts down machines, Responsible for machine adjustments

• Conducts minor repairs, PM’s, and changes inserts as required

• Ensures safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported in a timely manner

• Ensure work area(s) are maintained in a clean and organized manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
