A Family orientated manufacturing company has an immediate opening for an Injection Molding Process Technician. They are looking for an applicant with practical experience utilizing scientific molding principles. Experience with Engels machines is a plus.

The Candidate will have the Potential to move into a supervisory role for candidates with solid technical skills and leadership traits.

Responsibilities

· Qualify new molds and develop control plans for new product

· Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with products

· Supervise performance of daily PM by machine operators

· Develop mold PM plans and ensure completion

· Ensure compliance with documented procedures and quality standards

· Use scientific methods to optimize quality, cost, and throughput

· Train and build a world class production environment

· Setup and operate injection mold equipment

· Develop practical solutions in a fast-moving environment

Requirements

o 3 years minimum as an injection mold process technician

o Ability to read and understand prints and other technical documentation

o Ability to use handheld measurement devices and other quality gauges

o Experience with qualification of new molds

o Experience with Engels highly desirable

o Ability to effectively communicate problems and solutions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
