This position will be based in Eglin, FLorida

Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will be responsible for the management of cost, schedule, resources, and performance in accordance with Government requirements. The Program Manager position requires

management skills necessary to ensure efficient management of support activities required to support required missions. These actions include, but is not be limited to, documenting requirements, coordinating with stakeholders/third parties, analysis of organization needs relating to mission systems and computer systems, determine funding requirements, work with appropriate government organizations to secure funding, and will oversee requirements from beginning to closure (as directed by the government customer). The contractor will coordinate with the local government customer on what project management tracking tool will be used. These positions shall also assist the government in performing configuration management functions. These functions shall include, but not be limited to, working with user sites on network connectivity requirements, standard desktop configuration requirements, tracking/shipping equipment, software requirements, technical requirements, and supporting/implementing/maintaining the configuration management process.

• Experience managing and delivering IT services to an installation.

• Knowledge of IT concepts and ability to communicate on IT issues (using appropriate technical terminology) with Government leadership, customers, and technicians.

• Ability to assess/analyze processes, data, and resources to develop optimal methods to deliver services.

• An active TS w/ SCI eligibility Clearance is required
• Familiarity with Air Force organizational structures and coordination practices highly desired
• A PMI PMP certification preferred and (10 ) years of Management experience
• Master’s degree Preferred
• Excellent communication skills; must read, write, speak English
• Ability to work well with others
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Office tools
• Familiarity with DoD or Air Force environment desired
• Familiarity with Air Force Instructions (17 series) desired
• Manage a geographically disbursed team of up to 300 FTEs in size
• 10-15% Travel maybe required to visit dispersed project sites
