Job Description:
Responsibilities:

• The candidate will work towards characterizing the API and excipients using thermal, spectroscopic, and imaging techniques. The candidate will also screen and develop amorphous formulations and assess their performance.
• The ideal candidate will be self-driven, organized, detail oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills. Good oral and written communication skills along with the ability to work independently as well as in teams/collaborative environment are required.

Skills:

• Use of instruments including HPLC, thermal analyses (DSC/TGA), PLM, pH meter, UV/VIS and dissolution systems is preferred.
• Good lab skills in wet/analytical chemistry, basic data analysis. The candidate will be required to present and discuss the findings with others in the department.

Education:

• Physical chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical engineering. For Chemist II, 3-5 years of experience with BS or master's degree

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $36.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
