Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing routine analyses (e.g. (U) HPLC with UV/Vis detection) related to small-molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, starting materials, pre-clinical formulations, and accelerated stability samples.
• Responsible for efficiently processing and visualizing analytical data, with special attention to trends and correlations.
• Responsible for maintaining and keeping an accurate laboratory notebook with high attention to detail.
• Autonomous and productive in performing routine lab work, including, but not limited to, solution and sample preparations, stability studies, instrument maintenance, and buffer preparations, after appropriate training.
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry, with typically 2 (BS), 0-2 (MS) years related industry experience.
• Working technical background in analytical chemistry with capability and/or willingness to develop analytical methods.
• Hands on experience with HPLC analysis.
• Experience with use of automated lab equipment is a plus.
• Self-motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented individual able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• High-quality written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with interdisciplinary scientists and engineers.

Preferred:

• Ability to utilize a range of analytical techniques to perform development studies related to small-molecule active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, starting materials, and pre-clinical formulations.
• Previous experience with small-molecule pharmaceutical development.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Up to $33.33 per hour
