Job Title: Fiber Install & Restoration Specialist
Location: Alexandria VA.

Overview: TELICS is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Install and Restoration specialist in the Alexandria VA area. You will play a crucial role in the installation and restoration of fiber optic cable infrastructure. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and has good physical stamina. This position is a general labor position with little to no experience required. You will be trained to restore roadways upon completion of fiber optic cable installation projects.

· Installing and maintaining fiber optic cables and infrastructure.

· Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

· Loading company vehicles with tools and machinery for the job site.

· Digging, hauling materials, trench cleaning and applying sealant.

· Assist with installation of telecommunications fiber optic cables.

· Restoration of roadways when fiber optic installation is complete.

· Follow all procedures and specifications to ensure quality workmanship.

· Ensure the site is clean when restoration is complete.

· Follow all DOT regulations.

· Background check and drug testing.

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

· Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· High School Diploma or GED

· Fork lift certification a plus

· Paid training.

· 40 hour work week. (opportunities for overtime)
