Position Summary: The Asset Protection Bankruptcy Specialist is responsible for performing administrative functions specifically pertaining to bankrupt accounts within the Asset Protection Department. They process a variety of personal and business financial transactions including but not limited to: flagging all of the accounts reported to be included in the bankruptcy filing, thoroughly documenting the accounts with all pertinent information, stopping the mail, preparing and filing reaffirmation agreements, preparing and filing proof of claims, sending information to attorney to file plan objections when appropriate, and ongoing monitoring of all Chapter 11 and 13 bankrupt accounts to ensure plan compliance and feasibility. We are currently seeking a part-time (25 hours per week) Bankruptcy Specialist. Actual work hours are very flexible and you can customize your schedule to fit your needs as long as they fit within our standard operating hours of 6:30am-7:00pm Monday-Friday. What you will do:

It is expected that the employee will read, compile, compute and record numerical and statistical data. Must drive occasionally. This is a Non-Collective Bargaining Unit.
