The Electromechanicalsegment provides automation and precision motion control solutionsas well as electrical interconnects specialty metals and thermalmanagement systems.

Job Description :

Performspackaging duties for the shipment of Company products Companyownedmaterial and companysupplier material.

Processes packed orders to accommodate themethod of shipment. Loads product and material onto trucks to shiporders to destination.

Uses the Company MRP system to document the packingprocessing and shipment of products and materials.

Primary / Essential Responsibilities :

Determines proper packing material based onthe type of product or material. Builds cartons tubes skidsredicrates and wood crates of different sizes to properly pack theproduct or material.

Processes packed orders using the MRP system toaccommodate the required method of shipment by scheduling in theUPS system or staging for other small box or LTL carrier pick up.

Loads packed andprocessed material onto carrier trucks using pallet jacks sitdownforklift hoist etc.

Operates electrical and pneumatic tools standardconstruction and mechanical tools weight scales and computer.

Possesses beginningto basic knowledge of the subject matter.

RequiredQualifications :

Describe the minimum requirededucation experience (type and years) and skill / competencies

High school diplomaor general education degree (GED) is preferred.

No prior experience or trainingis required although is preferred.

Ability to read and comprehend in ENGLISHsimple instructions short correspondence and memos and tocommunicate in English in oneonone and small group situations toother associates of the organization.

Ability to use basic mathematical skills suchas addition subtraction multiplication and division.

Preferred Qualifications :

Elementary understanding in the use of a computerpreferably Windowsbased.

Prior experience with power tools and standardconstruction tools.

Prior experience with Powered Industrial Trucks i.e.forklifts order pickers powered pallet jacks etc.
