Job Type : Contract

Work Type : Onsite

Shift : Monday to Friday from 06 : 15 AM to 02 : 30 PM

Overtime : Some weekday, weekend, and holiday overtime may be required

Responsibilities :

• Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
• Comply with all safety regulations and conduct all activities in a safe, efficient manner.
• Cleans packaging rooms and machinery by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Principles (cGMPs).
• Performs manual or automated assembly, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products.
• Ensures adherence to specifications and the highest quality standards.
• Accepts or rejects in-process clinical supplies and drug products according to acceptability standards determined by Good Manufacturing Principles, customer requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Works with other departments to perform necessary tasks.
• Performs tasks that may be verified by an independent individual, or may perform inspection / verifications of work performed by others.
• Uses stationary and / or hand-held machinery in multiple operations.
• Must be able to work in both primary and secondary rooms.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Certification, including but not limited to filtering face masks, PAPR, N- 95 masks, half-face masks, and safety glasses is required for this position.
• Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update the Oracle system accordingly.
• Place all incoming and outgoing materials including finished goods, raw materials, and supplies in the appropriate staging and storage locations.
• Prepare materials for shipment involving all modes of transportation (LTL, TL, ocean, rail, and airfreight)
• Verify receipts to ensure damage-free products are introduced into our systems and accurate records are maintained.
• Preserve the quality and integrity of materials while loading and unloading activities occur.
• Keep and maintain designated warehouses safe, clean, and in a presentable manner at all times.
• Print and collate shipping documents by order.
• Respond to phones and communications with other departments.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High School Degree or GED
• Able to work overtime when volume justifies additional labor hours
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40lbs and a maximum of 75lbs and use pallet jacks
• Must be willing to spend extended periods walking / standing, entering data for orders, and handling inventory items
• Work as part of a team within Distribution and across QA, Client Services, and Supply Chain departments
• Basic computer competency using Microsoft Office applications and significant data entry
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work in a refrigerated environment with proper PPE

Preferred Qualifications :

• Forklift experience
• Prior Distribution / Warehouse experience
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices
• Prior pharmaceutical or clinical logistics experience
