Job Description

Responsible for managing generalcontractors and subcontractors testing agencies budgets andschedules on specific buildings in support and coordination ofoverall plant construction project completion.

Administer constructioncontracts; conduct onsite inspection to monitor plan compliance.

Direct activities ofcontractors and subcontractors to support project schedule incompliance with plans and specifications.

Research plan andadminister building projects applying knowledge of designconstruction procedures and building materials.

Present status reports to owner.

Receive review andcoordinate contract changes into project delivery.

Be intimately and completelyknowledgeable of current and future activities in area(s) ofresponsibility and be able to implement countermeasures to supportproject schedule.

Manage general contractor and subcontractorconstruction activities

Manage project budgetand schedule :

Develop project status reports formanagement review

Update and maintain project cost report

Review contractor change ordersvalidate scope and costs submit for owner approval

Communications :

Coordinate between owner contractor and A / E firm

Review and processrequests for information submittals shop drawings and constructiondocuments.

Meetings :

Maintainweekly general contractor meetings.

Meeting minutes and action item lists.

Closeout :

Coordinate asbuiltoperations & maintenance manuals and training to user group andsupport departments.

Support kanban (commissioning and startup) activities

Review prepare andcoordinate completion of punchlist activities.

Complete all acceptance testingprocedures

Qualifications :

Construction and / or A / E firm projectmanagement experience 5 plus years

Automotive experience Assembly Plant and / orPowertrain / Unit Plant

Good organization and communication skills

Cost estimating / scheduling

Education :

Engineering;Architectural; or Construction Management degree (or)

Software :

Microsoft OfficeSoftware PowerPoint Excel Word

Microsoft Project (if possible)

AutoCAD (if possible)
