Terminal Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Terminal Manager to oversee the operations at our terminal facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Manage terminal operations including loading, unloading, and storage activities
- Supervise terminal staff and provide leadership and guidance
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures
- Coordinate with vendors for supplies and services
- Oversee dispatching and scheduling of shipments
- Monitor inventory levels and procurement needs
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness
- Collect and analyze data to optimize terminal performance
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Ops Manager, Asst Manager, or Terminal Manager with experience in trucking, or warehouse logistics
- Knowledge of AS400
- Strong vendor management skills
- Ability to implement process improvements
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Experience in supply chain management
- Dispatching experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,174.84 - $75,000.00 per year
