Job Title: Pre-sales Project Manager / Formulator

Hope to find someone close to Wausau/Madison/ Central Wisconsin. Salary wise we are looking at up to 65k but it will depend on the qualifications. We can go higher but we need a very good candidate.

It would be great if the candidate has experience in formulating food supplements or has a background in biology/ nutrition / chemistry.

Qualification/Skill Requirements:

Reporting to the Business Development Manager based in the US, the Pre-Sales Project Manager provides technical support and participates in the development and industrialization of new food supplements with the sales team and our customers with an agri-food and pharmaceutical profile. It focuses on the analysis of the client's technical needs and on the costing, phases related to the commercial proposal as well as the transfer of validated projects to the manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities :

• Support sales representatives and customers in order to provide support and technical insight into the company's offering;
• Develop the promotion of value-added services to customers and answer additional technical questions in order to reassure them in their decision-making;
• Support the company's offer by providing expertise on the development of new products or on the improvement of existing products;
• Follow up on projects throughout their lifecycle with sales representatives and their customers and answer technical questions;
• Coordinate the creation of new products: theoretical formulation, development of specifications, definition of theoretical formulations and tests and prototypes with our laboratory specialists;
• Collaborate with the various departments (production, process and galenic R&D, compliance) for industrial implementations and the documentary valorization of products;
• Contribute to the improvement of existing products, concepts or processes; Participate in the technical and scientific promotion of existing products internally and with customers with the marketing team;
• Update information sharing tools and actively participate in their transformation for greater agility;
• Carry out analytical competitive intelligence; Participate in conferences, and various events likely to enrich your knowledge of the market;
• Conduct training and participate in updates to new employee onboarding programs.
• Participate in various special projects;
• Participate in all other related tasks.

TECHNICAL SKILLS Required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in agri-food, microbiology or related fields
• Possess more than 2 years of technical experience in the agri-food, health/microbiological industry
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel within tight deadlin
• Rigor, organization, initiative and autonomy
• Good analytical and synthesis skills to deal with complex subjects
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluency in an international context

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,682.31 - $79,101.28 per year
