Overview:
Assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to lawyers and other legal

professionals engaged in civil or administrative law.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Legal

• File pleadings.

• Manage attorney calendars.

• cross-check and validate information.

• draft legal documents, such as subpoenas and discovery.

• help prepare legal applications, declarations and motions.

• prepare and edit correspondence.

• check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy.

• help with trial and motion preparation, including witness lists, exhibits and trial binders.

• assist the lawyer in the courtroom.

• review and monitor new and updated laws and regulations.

• perform legal and factual research.

• perform records research including CLEAR.

Administrative

• Screen initial callers and schedule intake appointments.

• build and maintain files.

• co-ordinate law office activities such as subpoena delivery.

• locate and interview witnesses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,558.00 - $76,711.00 per year
