Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects in downtown San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in managing projects that involve elevators and vertical transportation systems. This role requires a professional with EM 385 and CQM certifications, ensuring adherence to safety and quality management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Ensure all projects comply with EM 385 standards and regulations.
• Implement and enforce the Construction Quality Management (CQM) program on all projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing projects involving elevators and vertical transportation systems.
• EM 385 certification is required.
• CQM certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,837.00 - $155,121.00 per year
