The Elevator Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains freight and passenger elevators and escalators. Being an Elevator Technician is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. May be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
