The client has an immediate opening for a full-time Automotive Repair Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a fast-paced and dynamic automotive service shop based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a member of the repair team, this individual will be responsible for providing efficient and cost-effective vehicle repair services as well as troubleshooting challenging vehicle issues.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle maintenance problems using specialized diagnostic equipment
- Repair vehicles according to prescribed standards and ensure customer satisfaction
- Test parts and systems utilizing diagnostic equipment
- Keep maintenance records of repairs and services
- Follow company service procedures and safety regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid top-offs, and filter inspections
- Report customer feedback and suggestions to the service manager
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent or 5 years of related experience
- ASE certification and/or other related certifications are preferred
- Prior automotive repair experience in a shop setting
- Ability to use power and manual tools and diagnostic equipment
- Working knowledge of current automotive repair standards and processes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, kneel, climb, and crawl in tight spaces
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.00 - $28.90 per hour
