Our client is hiring a REMOTE Insurance Follow-Up Representative. The office is located in Herndon, VA. The first week of training will be on-site in Herndon.

After that, you will be required to go into the office 1x per month. This is a great PERMANENT opportunity with growth and bonus potential down the line.

Insurance Follow Up Representative

Shift : Monday - Friday 8am - 4 : 30pm

Location : Herndon, VA (hybrid schedule)

Job Duties :

• Make outbound calls and take inbound calls
• Resolve outstanding account balances via the necessary avenues (internal system)
• Follow up on unpaid bills
• Properly follow up on all correspondence received
• Maintain a work file of accounts
• Provide customer service to all debtors, with the intent to resolve the past due amount
• Skip trace for better location information on debtors
• Contact and follow up with insurance when necessary for account resolution
• Meet and / or exceed monthly production standards and fee goals

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

• 1 year experience doing insurance follow up (claims, insurance, EOB's billing)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Negotiation or collections experience preferred
• Responsible use of confidential information
• Ability to multi-task
