TEKsystems is Hiring a Collection representative Near Auburn, MI
Temporary Collections Representative position - assisting Project Coordinating department with collecting outstanding payments from customers.
This role will be temporary until they are caught up on invoicing. Projected to last 6-12 months.
THIS IS A PART TIME / TEMPORARY ROLE. MUST HAVE COLLECTIONS EXPERIENCE.
Mon-Fri - 20-30 hours per week - flexible hours - anywhere from 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Job Description :
- Outreach to customers to collect outstanding payments
- Customers might not be especially pleased over the phone - remaining calm, professional, and resolution focused during calls
- Update customer files each time contact is made with customer
- Manage accounts in assigned portfolio through the collection timeline and employ sound and appropriate collection techniques to collect outstanding balances.
- Work in a team environment to meet and improve Days Sales Outstanding goals.
- Minimize bad debt loss through the management of sales against assigned credit limits and prior sales activity
- Rationalizes payment plans with customers
- Perform routine accounting reconciliations
- Daily interaction with outside customers, sales teams, internal management, and functional peers verbally and in writing.
Bring outstanding issues and accounts to resolution
