Under the direction of the Head of Data Analytics & Architecture, Global, the successful AVP Tableau candidate will enhance the solution architecture for analytical platforms and data enabled solutions. The candidate must have a broad understanding of the entire data & analytics ecosystem of tools and technologies, with hands on experience across the core data domains of business intelligence, data engineering, and data visualization - TABLEAU.
The candidate will analyze the data needs and use their skills in coding to develop and maintain secure data platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming data into format(s) that can be more easily analyzed by citizen analysts and data scientists alike. They will do this by developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructures for data generation that enable others to more easily access in a secure way the data needed to derive data-driven insights and do their jobs.
The successful candidate must be comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams and systems. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing our company's data platform to support our next generation of investments
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
Assume the role of Tableau subject-matter-expert.
Develop and Implements design principles in Tableau.
Optimize complex workbooks and large datasets for optimal report performance and maintainability.
Understands the analytic needs and translates them into meaningful and actionable data visualizations.
Perform data analysis and validations.
Reviews internal data processes and systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
Supports internal BTG members' drive to increase data literacy throughout via communications, learning sessions, and other interactions.
Supports training of team members on how to properly organize findings and read data collected.
Assembles large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Understands how data platform integrates within the overall technical architecture.
Completes related projects as assigned.
Works with stakeholders including the Lines of Business and BTG teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Works with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture using Azure Data Factory.
Able to perform extraction, transformation, and loading of data from different sources.
Maintain the ETL Process Management, and ETL Testing.
Use the Data Models to define the transformation and presentation layers of the data pipelines.
Perform data cleaning, structuring/mapping in the stagging layer.
Continuously improves and documents processes and procedures to follow best practices and minimize resource waste.

Qualifications
5-7 years plus of proven experience in developing and working Tableau driven dashboards, analytics.
Working knowledge as an ETL developer and writing complex SQL Queries.
Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
Working knowledge of Tableau administrator/architecture.
Advanced working SQL knowledge, relational database management systems, and data modeling.
Experience building and optimizing data pipelines in Azure Data Factory, architectures, and data sets.
Experience in Power BI is a plus.
Strong communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C , Scala, etc. Is a plus.
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Experience working with private and sensitive personal information.
Strong computer skills and ability to use necessary databases and software.
Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Proficient in data warehousing solutions and ETL tools.
Proficient in database design, data definition, data dictionary, and related concepts.
Understands Machine Learning.
Can leverage data APIs.
Understands app/dev & SDLC.
Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Must be able to maintain professional and effective working relations with supervisors, co-workers.
