Description:
Seeking a Sr. IT Technical Project Manager to manage and deliver complex IT project(s) with multiple teams and work streams coordinated to an aggressive delivery schedule. The project manager is responsible for the outcome of the assigned projects. The project manager leads the team through the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management for successful completion of the project phases: Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closeout.
Qualifications:
Candidate MUST have PMP certification through PMI
Candidate must also be able to work onsite 3-4 days/week
A minimum of 7 years of project experience in IT infrastructure delivery, Identity Access Management, Risk Management, SIEM, server infrastructure, knowledge of Cloud implementations, and vendor management.
Familiarity with network technologies (switches, firewalls, circuits, etc.) standards and practices.
Manage projects consisting of Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or IT Infrastructure components (Servers, storage, OS upgrades, networking, software installs, vulnerability remediation, etc.)
Experience managing large multi-stream projects
Experience in various software development methodologies. Preferred experience with Agile.

Technical Project Manager is responsible for driving execution across Engineering initiatives, Product, Operations, and external teams and deliver complex IT projects coordinating with multiple teams and work streams to an aggressive delivery schedule.
Maintain project budget, plans, tasks, schedules, risks, and status and disseminate information to team members and customers as defined in the communications plan.
Serve as a hands-on technical project manager with development staff and business groups to support the implementation, scaling, and operating of various platforms.
Collaborate with vendors, internal project teams, and external partners in the execution of projects including contract management and working with the procurement division.
Provide the management of project milestones and deliverables for on-time and on-budget delivery. Regularly present project updates to IT leadership and various audiences.
Define, measure, and clearly communicate progress with metrics.
Develop resource plan and track resources over the course of a project.
Ensure efficient execution and timely delivery across multiple work streams.
Facilitate decision making and problem solving to remove impediments for the teams.
Identify and report risks and blockers to execution in a timely manner.
Drive prioritization conversations between teams.
Build strong relationships, work closely with, and drive communication across both internal and external teams to ensure alignment
