One of TEKsystems' long-standing customers, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Birmingham, AL, is looking for a Sr. Desktop Support technician to join their team. The candidate will (specifically) assume the duties of the Executive Support Technician. The candidate will be responsible for providing "white-glove" support to the company's executives. Technically, this person will be responsible for Windows 10/11 OS, the GoogleSuite (Gsuite), and the main Microsoft Office apps, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. The client uses Zscaler for VPN client and web filtering. From a hardware standpoint, there's a mix of HP (firefly and Zbooks) and Surface Pros, Iphones, etc. A big plus would be any experience setting up conference rooms with TVs, videoconferencing and displays, webcams, etc. Due to the nature of this role, soft skills are paramount. The expectation is for this candidate to mesh with the executives and not butt heads, show resistance or friction of any kind. No matter what. Fast response times while not acting anxious. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset; ie if they see an issue or multiple issues, then look for ways to improve without those same issues arising again. The client loves people who will add to the culture and think/act like an owner or an integral, long-term member of the organization.

Due to the executive support nature of this role, the position is expected to be onsite 100%, however company culture is certainly flexible for things that arise personally/family as there are 1-2 team members that will serve as a backup.
