Description:
This is L3 role, which will be a backfill for an employee who is getting promoted. This role acts as the point of escalation for all Field Techs/Desktop Support resources. This person will own the administration of KACE, project- based work and collaborate with network and security teams to aid process improvement for the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
Design, configure, and manage baseline desktop operating systems
Act as Tier 3 escalation for desktop environment
Install, configure, and maintain desktop environments using Microsoft Operating Systems and Office 365 applications.
Create and maintain Active Directory and Remote Access/VPN User accounts
Create/deploy/maintain mandated secure Group Policy solutions and trouble-shoot security implications with affected applications
Deploy and support Windows 11 golden images across both Mac and Windows platforms.
Active Directory forests, domains, group policy management, OU/security group/user/computer object administration.
Windows Admin experience including: Windows desktop patching, desktop virtualization, deploying and trouble-shooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Utilize Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Autopilot for streamlined device provisioning, mobile device, and application management to ensure endpoint security compliance and configuration management.
Assist in the deployment of updates and patches for software and systems.
Provide technical support for both on-site and remote employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
Collaborate with IT security teams to implement security measures that protect company data and comply with industry regulations.
System installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance.
Common Windows roles, features, and services, such as file shares, replication, print services
Lifecycle management solutions that track software inventory, deploy security patches, and administer software distribution
Scripting with Windows command line, PowerShell, virtual basic, etc.
