Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Implement and enforce approved Data Management Standards that support the timely and efficient compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, and retrieval of data from databases

* Resolve database and server issues

* Apply cybersecurity knowledge to configure IT equipment to proper security standards

* Test systems and resolve security vulnerabilities

* Determining appropriate IT policies, while creating and improving upon system documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a Database, Administrator, Systems Engineer, or Cybersecurity Roll

* Minimum of Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Databases, Cybersecurity, or related discipline

* Active CCNA Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, SSCP, or higher (minimum DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification)

* Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph

DESIRED SKILLS

* Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services), and/or STIGs/IAVA

* A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution

* Has, or is willing to gain, more diverse IT skills, including Windows/Linux, networking, and more

* Able to build systems from the ground up - network architecture/systems engineering
