Teksky is Hiring a Sales Account Manager Near Acton, MA

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, developing sales strategies and leading growth opportunities throughout the sales cycle. This process requires meeting sales targets by managing and supporting accounts/customers, analyzing customer needs and sales data to communicate trends, and contributing to sales plans. Client meetings and participation in trade shows, conferences, and networking events are at the core of your daily activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the assigned territory and accounts/customer base, including regular follow-ups and site visits to ensure sales targets are met and good customer relations are maintained.
  • Achieve revenue growth and profitability goals for the assigned customers
  • Develop and execute an annual business plan with colleagues to achieve your targets.
  • Analyze the performance for your accounts/territory regularly and recommend and apply corrective actions - Quarterly Business Review
  • Be accountable for defining customer engagement plans to ensure customer relationship success
  • Build and maintain trusted and preferred supplier relationships with your clients at all levels, including their executives.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities including leads, sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare and deliver budget quotations and value propositions to clients
  • Provide periodic reports on activities and results and participate in sales & marketing meetings.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with other groups within the Division, including Marketing, Production, QA/QC, and Support to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of sales efforts. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Develop awareness of industry trends
  • Collaborate, use tact, extend courtesy, and practice respect with co-workers and clients.
  • Promote cooperation and work effectively with other departments and offices.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives of the company.
  • Take responsibility for your personal and professional growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, mechanical engineering, geology or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years Sales Account Manager experience
  • Proven track record of success in Product Sales roles, preferably in the geotechnical, civil engineering, construction material testing technology, or environmental sectors
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, strategies, and techniques
  • Exceptional communication and customer-centric interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate insights.
  • Results-oriented, problem solver with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing business environment.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems (knowledge of SAP is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce software and sales productivity tools
  • Proficiency in using MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others), Google Sheets, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve the sales process.

**Please note, this position offers base pay plus bonus opportunity**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
