- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence solutions using best practices.
- Develop and maintain reports, KPI scorecards and dashboards based on user requirements using Power BI.
- Work collaboratively with the ETL Developer on SQL code, data extracts and ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports.
- Participate in resolving ServiceNow tickets that involve reports, data extracts and scripts.
- Actively participate in project meetings to provide status to leadership team.
- Interact with business stakeholders/users to ensure accurate and comprehensive understanding of business requirements.
- Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders in using Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems.
- 7 years of relevant experience as a Power BI Report/BI Developer.
- Experience in various software development lifecycle management methodologies (Agile Scrum, Kanban) using tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps or Jira for business requirements documentation.
- Experience working with financial data, internal/third party products and systems preferred.
- Experience in SQL scripting to perform data analysis and query data preferred.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Experience with MS stack, SSIS, and SQL Scripting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with business stakeholders.
- Analytical, with problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills.
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to perform work independently and exercise good judgement.
- Must understand business requirements and database technology.
- Demonstrate original thinking and creativity; meet challenges with resourcefulness; generate suggestions for improving work.
