What You Will Be Doing: * Using systems engineering expertise to review and assess a wide range of complex weapon systems to identify technical risks within the system's cybersecurity posture. * Working with the system owner to develop and recommend appropriate mitigations to manage cybersecurity risks. * Reviewing and assessing cybersecurity architectures across a variety of applications or domains for systems with large size, complexity, and risk. * Partnering with the DoD customers building these systems to guide them and to help them understand the cybersecurity trade space. Must Have: * MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with CI Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances. * 5 years' experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer on programs of similar scope / size with a BS in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related discipline OR 3 years experience with MS in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related discipline OR 1 year experience with a PhD or JD degree. * CompTIA Security . * One of more of the following within 6 months of start on contract: CPTE, CEH, CISA, CISSP. Nice to Have: * Experience with Cybersecurity best practices and Threat-based Cybersecurity frameworks. * Experience providing system security engineering guidance for DoD customers. * Familiar with system authorization process and necessary security artifacts.
