Software Engineer 2 TS/SCI FS POLY || Columbia, MD. The Mission: Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Software Developer to support the Data Normalization & Automation (DNA) team which provides end-to-end design, implementation, integration, and normalization of data formats for use in downstream systems. The Job: * Provide software development, workflow support and ops support for a data transformation application. * Automate data flows using NiFi, and provide Java software development. * Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. * Works individually or as part of a team. * Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. * Resolves software problem reports. * Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. * Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade- offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. The Qualifications: * An Active TS/SCI clearance FS polygraph. * This is a deal-breaker and a hard requirement. * 14 years of related work experience. * Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline * 1.5 years of NiFi experience * Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD If you think you'd be a good fit, apply now!
