Position: Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of integrated, secure solutions across the enterprise, with a focus on meeting the specific requirements of the NYPD and FDNY.
• Collaborate closely with engineering team members to develop innovative, high-quality solutions that are free from defects and align with organizational needs.
• Work alongside Engineers, Applied Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of desired functionality and ensure interoperability of systems.
• Maintain the stability of the enterprise system architecture by adhering to best engineering practices.
• Provide engineering expertise in the creation, optimization, and execution of QA/Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) test plans across the enterprise.
• Assist in the controlled execution of releases into the managed production environment.

Mandatory Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure Engineering, preferably within the Public Safety domain.
• Deep understanding of the systems development lifecycle, including challenges, potential delays, and proven experience in resolving such issues.
• Exceptional technical architecture skills with a focus on developing future-proof solutions for public safety.
• Experience in multi-tier system development for large enterprises and the ability to design comprehensive strategies around defined applications or processes.
• Proficient in integration, engineering, and testing methodologies for Public Safety Answering Center System of Systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and facilitate discussions effectively.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Enterprise Integration for multiple complex applications within the Public Safety domain.
• In-depth knowledge, skills, and abilities in an enterprise system of systems environment within the Public Safety domain.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Certifications in relevant areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Systems Integration, or Public Safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
