#9489 The Tax Admin role is a corporate position focused on supporting daily operations through assisting with a broad range of general administrative duties and tax accounting responsibilities. The Tax Admin is an integral part of our Tax Team and will assist in documentation, report generation and tracking, filing requirements, and entry level income tax processing. Key Responsibilities:
Write, type, or enter information into spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and/or presentations, to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, basic presentations, or other documents related to assigned projects.
Track and review net operating losses and valuation allowances and other items related to ASC 740-10.
Sort and file records.
Prepare correspondence, as necessary to ensure clarity in communications between teams, clients, and other relevant departments and taxing authorities.
Answer telephone, convey messages, and run errands to/from other departments.
Assist in maintaining strong SOX control environments and ensure the quality of audit documentation.
Receive mail and ship documents.
Assist in preparing tax provisions for carve-out financial statements.
Assist in preparing the global income tax provision and disclosures for interim and annual SEC financial statements.
Assist in the day-to-day tax operations of the business.
Assist in the preparing of federal and state income tax returns.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent
Preferred - bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Tax from an accredited college or university.
2-4 years related administrative and/or tax experience.
Degree can be substituted in lieu of experience.
Strong research and communication skills, with the ability to lead team discussions.
