As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting members with their financial needs, establishing and maintaining long-lasting and profitable relationships, and promoting and cross-selling TEG products and services. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
MSR I
- 1-3 years of similar or related experience in a bank or Credit Union
- An interest in developing into an MSR II position and beyond!
- A high school diploma or GED
- Excellent member/ customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Logical and analytical judgement
- Must be comfortable with computers, have a basic knowledge of Windows, and be able to learn new software programs quickly

- Open accounts for new and existing members, respond to member requests, and resolve member account problems
- Perform advanced member transactions
- Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers, including teller duties as needed by your branch
- Analyze credit reports and perform credit reviews for membership
- Conduct outbound sales/leads calls as needed and assist Branch Manager in coaching/developing staff on meeting branch goals
- Effectively cross sell credit union products and loan services
- Perform member service functions, including redeeming bonds, setting up payroll distributions, wire transfers, processing address changes, ordering checks, etc.
