TEEMA Solutions is Hiring a Registered Nurse RN - Day Shift Near California, CA
TEEMA Solutions is seeking an RN for an open-ended contract at a corrections facility in California City, California. No corrections experience is required. Must have a CA nurse license, 1 year of recent RN experience, and a desire to serve the underserved.
Pay Rate $70/hr (up to $10 per hour of this can be a stipend), 40 hours per week (no mandates).
Weekly pay. Health Benefits are available.
Schedule: 40-hour work week; 5 8-hour shifts; Day shift 7 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday
Start date in late April
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement nursing care including the administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, and disease prevention, orders by the physician, and obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.
- Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary team in developing multidisciplinary treatment efforts; assist physicians with medical or minor surgical procedures, and prepare records and other reports.
- Provide observation, ongoing patient assessments, and therapeutic intervention consistent with the patient's physical and psychological status; evaluate the effectiveness of patient/youth treatment regimens and record progress;
- Document all nursing activities in medical records, including an initial nursing assessment, treatment interventions, and patient
