As the Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Directly hire, support, and supervise laboratory staff, overseeing complex patient testing in various areas including Phlebotomy, Hematology, Chemistry, and more.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain quality control and management programs to uphold standards set by regulatory bodies such as CAP, CMS, and CLIA.

• Collaboration: Act as the laboratory representative across the hospital, liaising with medical providers, nurses, and administrators to address laboratory and patient-related issues.

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures in a hospital setting, including inspections and responses to maintain accreditation.

Requirements:

• Certification: ASCP certification or equivalent.

• Education: Master's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent applicable laboratory field, or Bachelor's degree with additional lead experience.

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of clinical, chemical, public health, or related lab experience, with 2 years in a lead capacity.

• Skills: Proficiency in universal precautions, infection control practices, and effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Valid Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification from the State of Washington and licensure as a Medical Technician/Technologist with ASCP or Clinical Laboratory Sciences certification.
