Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Processor to join our team. As a Payroll Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail and knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees, including review of hours hours worked, overtime, and deductions
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data by reviewing timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Respond to clients inquiries regarding employees and job assignments
- Maintain accurate records of employee and clients communications
- Prepare payroll reports for management as needed
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data is maintained in the payroll system
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Processor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Fluent in English and Spanish
