Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist with opening or closing and other cashier duties.
- Maintain a clean workspace.
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash transactions, including taking and giving change, processing credit card payments, and providing receipts to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized cash register area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
- Provide product knowledge and assistance to customers in selecting menu items.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling cash and processing orders.
- Follow all policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to make quick calculations and handle cash transactions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
