Tecture is seeking a software engineer experienced in Microsoft web and database technologies. The ideal candidate has a range of experience, such as ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, stored procedures, payment gateways, and APIs.
Your primary responsibility is to help our clients (ranging from financial services to non-profits) keep their mission-critical systems online and functioning smoothly. This involves development of new features and functionality, debugging production issues, and working collaboratively with many other team members in a fast-paced environment.
You will also have the opportunity to design and develop new software solutions from the ground up. Recent new projects included an event ticketing system serving music venues, a document-sharing customer portal, an electronic funds transfer system for a consortium of libraries, and a customer support ticketing system.
Education and experience are less important than your ability to write elegant code, definitively debug complex issues, and invent unique solutions. Your work will directly impact our efforts with a rapidly growing client list and the long-term success of our company as well as the success of our clients!

Tecture's office is located in downtown Chicago, however, currently, we are working remotely, and will transition back to in office when it is safe to do so.
Our team is a dedicated bunch that love to help our clients make their businesses successful. We work collaboratively over a variety of remote channels (Zoom, Basecamp, Slack, etc.) and enjoy our Friday Slack Coffee and regular standup meeting.
