Position Overview

The role of the Shipping Associate and Quality is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. This role will be a flex role and the person hired will be expected to assist in our fitting and quality department.

Essential Job Functions

• Move materials and items from receiving, storage and production areas to shipping and other designated areas
• Sort and place material on racks, shelves or in bins according to size, type, style and product line
• Safely operate forklift, cherry pickers or other machinery to move, load, unload, stack and remove material from bins
• Accurately record amount of materials or items received or distributed on Hardware Sheets
• Scan, bar code and label parts processed in production
• Assist Quality and Fitting Department as needed
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness
• Observe all safety requirements in all duties
• Perform other duties, as requested

Qualifications

• Hi-Lo experience or certification, preferred
• Ability to multi-task various projects with high level of detail
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good verbal, written communication skills, as well as basic math skills

Physical Demands

• Requires standing, walking or bending for entire shift.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:
